St Mary's Work
Day 8 AM, August 21 There is a sign up sheet in the parish hall for
work day at St. Mary’s Church in Bolton. Please sign up if you plan to
attend. Bring cleaning supplies, rags, mops, mop buckets,
shop vacs, etc. There is plenty of
work in all areas. There is no air conditioning, so dress very
casual. Fans will be placed around the inside to keep air circulating. A lunch of baked beans, smoked chicken and ribs
will be furnished. Paper plates, napkins, plastic knives and forks; ice and
an ice chest full of Diet Coke, Regular Coke, and water are available. There
will be a pound cake for dessert. If you wish to, bring food to fill in. Carolyn Mellon (descendant of one of the town's
pioneer families) has asked us to eat lunch in her air-conditioned house. It seems to be shaping up to be a good work day.
There will be an additional work day on August 28. Birthday Party Mickey and Bobby Barlow, Becky and Blake Clanton
are honoring Saint Alban's community with a light lunch following the NO GIFTS PLEASE. St.
Mary’s Episcopal Church The
Holy Eucharist will be celebrated on September 12, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. by The
Rev. Billie Abraham from St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Bovina. Additions Soon

Alban's Church Under
the leadership and craftsmanship of the Saint Alban's Wednesday Work Crew, a
cross will be erected in the outside chapel area. The cross will mark
the area as a worship space. The cross will be located at the altar
platform. A
popular Camp Bratton Green outside game will be constructed soon. The
game is called Aerial 4-Square. It involves 4 players at a time and a
large rubber ball. At this time, the location being considered is the
level ground behind the church. It will stored
in the outside storage unit when not in use. The
game will be shared with our soon-to-be revitalized youth group and the Cub
Scouts and our community fall and spring events. Let Us Ponder For not only bread but all things necessary for sustenance in this life are given on loan to us with others and because of others and for others to others through us. Eucharist Meister Eckhart Thirteenth
